Description
Our client is searching for an experienced Workflow Co-ordinator who can demonstrate excellent communication skills and will be confident when dealing with senior clients and external providers of all levels of seniority.
This a key role within the creative team of this leading financial and you will be expected to actively contribute at regular internal and planning meetings.
You will have the ability to work under pressure and maintain a professional manner at all times is essential.

Key responsibilities

■   Interacts and liaises with clients to accept a brief of the job/work required.
■   Is flexible in allocating resource to appropriate team members/resources to work most efficiently and meet client needs whilst providing designers with opportunities to develop their technical skills.
■   Prioritises the use of offshore resource, where appropriate to do so, liaising with the Offshore Team.
■   Organises effective utilisation of onshore staff, working with other Controllers and with the Offshore Team, making timely decisions to maximise utilisation.
■   Works in a cooperative manner with colleagues, clients and external suppliers, maintaining good working relationships, even in difficult situations.
■   Assists with their team’s performance management, working with the management team to address performance issues with individual team members as they arise and providing feedback to the Manager and share knowledge which might be useful to others.
■   Interprets what is required on each job, checks understanding of instructions where needed, and provides clear instructions to designers.

■   You must have excellent project management and people management skills.
■   Demonstrates excellent communication skills, spoken and written, and is confident and effective in communicating with staff at all levels of seniority.
■   Able to manage client expectations and offer alternative suggestions to meet client demand.

■   Is accountable for service delivery and team performance, and is driven in pursuit of quality and efficiency.

Knowledge and experience

■   Excellent organisational skills, able to prioritise and manage several tasks simultaneously.
■   A team player who encourages “one team working” and is a role model for the team through their own conduct.
■   Previous experience of working in a graphics function or customer service role is is desirable.
■   A good understanding of the role of a brand within an organisation is required and the importance of consistent corporate identity and communications.
■   Good technical skills in PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Acrobat.
■   Working knowledge of Visio, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator is desirable.
