- Scanner required for leading law firm in the city.
Role purpose
Scanning, indexing and profiling of all incoming mail and business documents, creation and amendment of electronic
matter bibles within the company document management system, burning of DVDs, handling of faxes within the London
office. Working to a high degree of accuracy and quality in an often pressurised and time sensitive environment
Role and responsibilities
Clients
– To maintain a high level of service, striving to meet our client's expectations at all times.
– Liaising with clients regarding their requests, updating on progress, managing deadlines or seeking clarification as
necessary
– Have a good working knowledge of all departmental equipment, stocks and products to enable effective prioritisation
of work and to be able to advise clients of valid alternatives when necessary.
People
– Working as part of a team, supporting colleagues to meet busyness levels, managing workload to ensure efficient
and effective service.
Service
– Ensure all requests are completed to a high standard in a timely manner, following instructions and utilising all
available facilities.
– Using workflow management software (Unity) to undertake client requests, booking work in and out, liaising with
other departments and external suppliers as necessary.
– Meet specified deadlines by prioritising own workload at all times, liaising directly with clients, the Bridge and other
members of the print room team as necessary.
– Ensure that relevant quality control measures are undertaken and that all work is checked accordingly before being
signed off placing an emphasis on quality of product and accuracy.
– Undertake thorough handover with oncoming operators as necessary, ensuring that all relevant information is
available for them to perform their role as required.
